Top Colleges In India

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) that rates Indian higher educational institutes in India has published its ranking for institutes across the country. Approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, colleges and universities were ranked based on a detailed analysis of the data they had presented to the ministry.

In the second edition of these rankings, The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru has been adjudged the best university in the country and Miranda House in Delhi has been declared best college.

A total of seven Indian Institutes of Technology made it to the top 10 of best universities and Jamia Hamdard has been declared the best place to study Pharmacy in India.

While most of these institutes offer popular courses that nearly everyone knows about, some tread from the oft beaten path andoffer branches of study that are definitely not your average fare.
